From Burnout to Regulation
A 6-Week Somatic + EMDR-Informed Group
Wednesdays | 3:00–4:30 PM CST
June 3 – July 8, 2026
Applications Close May 25
This is a clinically structured, trauma-informed program designed for individuals who are ready for active nervous system change, not passive conversation.
High-functioning adults are often the ones who appear the most composed, while privately managing chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, hypervigilance, or shutdown.
You may be successful. Responsible. Reliable. And internally overwhelmed.
From Burnout to Regulation is a structured 6-week virtual group designed to help you move beyond surface-level coping and begin regulating your nervous system at a deeper level.
This is not an open process group. This is not trauma storytelling.
This is a guided, trauma-informed, skills-based experience that integrates somatic therapy principles and EMDR-informed bilateral techniques to support measurable nervous system change.
This program integrates advanced trauma training, including EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and is informed by nearly a decade of clinical experience.
Who This Group Is For
This group is ideal for adults who:
Feel chronically overwhelmed or emotionally depleted
Struggle with overthinking or hypervigilance
Experience emotional numbness or shutdown
Notice reactivity in relationships
Have a history of trauma but are currently stable
Want structured support beyond weekly talk therapy
This group is ideal for individuals who are ready to engage in focused, structured work and commit to the full 6-week process.
Participants must be emotionally stable and not in active crisis. This group is not appropriate for acute suicidality, recent psychiatric hospitalization, or active substance dependence.
Many participants are already successful in their careers or caregiving roles but feel internally dysregulated.
What We Will Focus On
Each 90-minute session includes:
Targeted psychoeducation about the nervous system
Guided somatic regulation exercises
EMDR-informed bilateral stimulation for containment and trigger reduction
Private journaling and integration time
Structured grounding and closure
Over the course of 6 weeks, we will address:
Week 1 – Understanding Burnout & Nervous System Patterns
Week 2 – Chronic Activation & Hypervigilance
Week 3 – Freeze, Shutdown & Emotional Numbness
Week 4 – Identifying Triggers & Bilateral Regulation Work
Week 5 – Boundaries, Attachment & Relational Stress
Week 6 – Future Template & Sustainable Regulation Planning
The focus is stabilization, regulation, and light target reduction, not deep trauma reprocessing.
